Environmental, Social and Governance Report

The report is GEG's first standalone ESG disclosure. For 2023, it reports Group total greenhouse gas emissions of 863,591.55 Tons of CO2e, total energy consumption of 4,061,567.62 GJ and total water consumption of 3,691,951.80 m3. The Group reported a year-end workforce of 20,379 and zero work-related fatalities in the past three years. ESG oversight is led by the Board, with responsibilities delegated to the Corporate Governance Committee.
