Sustainability Journey

The report presents Galp's 2023 sustainability journey across decarbonisation, nature, people and responsible business. It reports a 30% reduction in operating emissions against the 2017 baseline and maintains an ambition to reach net zero by 2050. Environmental disclosures include 29,240 tonnes of waste generated and 12% freshwater recycling, while workforce reporting covers 7,054 employees and 37% women on the Board of Directors. Governance, human-rights due diligence, EU Taxonomy alignment and cybersecurity initiatives are also highlighted.
