Sustainability Statement

The report presents Galp's first double materiality assessment and an ESRS- and CSRD-aligned Sustainability Statement for 2024. Gross Scope 1 emissions were 3,128,177 tonCO2e, with location-based Scope 2 emissions of 24,421 tonCO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 42,717,945 tonCO2e. Total energy consumption was 7,636,480 MWh, of which 6.3% came from renewable sources. Galp reported 7,086 employees and zero workplace fatalities for the year.
