Annual Report

The report presents GEA's first sustainability report aligned with the GRI G4 Guidelines and Core option, covering worldwide group activities. It reports 16,937 continuing-operations employees at December 31, 2016, no fatal workplace injuries, and 2015 Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions of 40,318, 42,357 and 62,606 tons of CO2 equivalent, respectively. It also describes group-wide compliance, diversity initiatives, supplier audits and certified quality, environmental, safety and energy management systems. The sustainability report was not externally assured for 2016.
