Overview

The report presents GEA's 2017 sustainability disclosures as a group-wide account prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards Core Option. It reports 33,332 tons of CO 2 equivalent from Scope 1, 38,511 tons from Scope 2, and 15,958 tons from Scope 3, with selected emissions and occupational safety indicators independently assured by KPMG. Workplace safety performance included 242 industrial accidents, but no fatal industrial accidents. GEA also reports continued CDP participation, an EcoVadis CSR rating of Silver, and expanding ISO-certified management systems.
