Sustainability Report (Excerpt)

Overview

The report describes GEA's 2018 sustainability performance under the GRI Standards core option. It reports 93,319 tons of CO2 equivalent across Scope 1, 2 and 3 and received a B- CDP score. GEA also established its first group-wide reporting system for water and waste, recording 313,900 cubic meters of water consumption and 24,132 tons of waste. KPMG performed a limited assurance engagement over the combined non-financial consolidated statement.
