Sustainability Performance Report

Overview

The report describes Geberit's 2013 sustainability performance within its integrated reporting approach, covering the entire Group. It reports 6,226 employees, 650.4 TJ of total energy consumption, 69,909 metric tons of Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions, and 12,118 metric tons of waste, 84% of which was sent to external recycling. The company reported 31.4% renewable electricity and maintained a Group-wide 20% absolute CO2 reduction target by 2020 against 2000. It also documents ISO-certified environmental management, UN Global Compact membership and GRI G3 Application Level A.
