Sustainability Report

The report presents Geberit's 2017 sustainability performance across its global operations. CO2 emissions decreased to 242,796 tonnes, while renewable sources accounted for 39.0% of electricity and total energy consumption was 828.5 GWh. The Group employed 11,709 people at year-end and continued initiatives covering occupational safety, water conservation, responsible procurement and social projects. Reporting was prepared in accordance with the comprehensive GRI G4 option and included a Communication on Progress under the UN Global Compact.
