Overview

The report describes General Mills' fiscal 2017 progress across climate, sourcing and governance. Its value-chain greenhouse gas emissions footprint decreased 11 percent from 2010, while 76 percent of its 10 priority ingredients were sustainably sourced. Scope 1, Scope 2 and part of Scope 3 emissions were verified by Bureau Veritas. The report also states that women represented 35.7 percent of the Board of Directors as of May 28, 2017.
