Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes the Group's 2012 sustainability activities across Malaysia, the United Kingdom, New York and Miami. In Malaysia, Resorts World Genting maintained ISO 14001 and pursued energy, water, waste and renewable-energy initiatives, including Earth Hour and plastic-bag reductions. The Group reported a global workforce of over 19,500 and highlighted training, safety and employee wellbeing programmes. Community engagement included donations, scholarships, sponsorships and the We CARE volunteer teams, while Genting UK reported 709 tonnes collected and 63.1% recycling.
