Sustainability Report

The report describes Givaudan's 2012 sustainability performance across its global activities, including a 57% reduction in Lost Time Injury Rate against the 2009 baseline. It reports a 16.6% reduction in direct and indirect CO2 emissions per tonne of production, alongside reductions in energy, water use and waste intensity. Sustainable sourcing initiatives included supplier audits, Sedex participation, and partnerships supporting lavender, palm oil, vetiver and vanilla supply chains. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI G3.1, submitted as UNGC COP, and assured by Ernst & Young.
