Integrated Company Report

The report describes GIZ's 2021 progress in climate and corporate sustainability, including worldwide climate-neutral operations, joining the Science Based Targets initiative and setting emissions-reduction targets. It also highlights the next cycle of the Sustainability Programme 2021–2025, with goals covering emissions, biodiversity, procurement and gender equality. Human-rights due diligence was strengthened through a new Human Rights Policy, updated complaints handling and staff training. The report also records a global workforce of 24,977 staff members at year-end.
