The report presents Glencore's 2022 performance across its energy and transition-metals businesses, including record earnings alongside a stated strategy for a lower-carbon future. It reports a 50% reduction target for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2035 against a restated 2019 baseline, with a longer-term net-zero ambition for 2050. The company recorded four work-related fatalities during the year and continued implementing its SafeWork and sustainability governance programmes.
