The report details the company’s 2023 sustainability performance, including 27.0 million tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 and 2 market-based emissions and 406 million tonnes CO2e of Scope 3 emissions. It describes company-wide industrial emissions-reduction targets of 15% by 2026, 25% by 2030 and 50% by 2035 against a restated 2019 baseline, alongside a longer-term net-zero ambition. The company recorded four work-related fatalities and reported that renewable sources supplied 5.4% of industrial energy needs. It also spent around $110 million on social contribution programmes and reported that women made up 18% of its employees.
