Overview

The report presents Gold Fields' 2010 operational and sustainability performance. It reports 18 fatalities and a carbon footprint of 7.4 million tonnes CO2-e, comprising Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Total water withdrawal was 63 million kL and discharge was 77 million kL, while approximately 50,000 employees were reported. Gold Fields also declared an A+ GRI G3 application level and described ISO 14001 certification across its operations.
