Overview

The report presents GAR's 2014-2015 sustainability performance, with its scope focused on Indonesian plantations, mills and selected palm oil sales operations. In 2015, the company reported 100% reuse of solid and liquid waste from CPO production, while methane capture reduced GHG emissions by nearly 37,000 tonnes CO2eq. It also completed participatory mapping in nearly 50 villages across seven concessions and supported 211 schools serving 28,886 students. The report records seven work-related fatalities in 2015 and describes ongoing efforts to strengthen safety.
