Overview

The report presents Golden Star's 2019 performance across its Ghanaian mining operations, including zero reportable environmental incidents and zero fatalities. It reports 5,822 ML of water consumed and 100% compliance with environmental and water monitoring requirements. Sustainability governance was strengthened through Board-level oversight and an Executive Vice President, Head of Sustainability on the Executive Committee. Women represented 33% of the Board, while the company set a 20% female representation target across the business by 2025.
