Overview

The report describes Granite's environmental management system, recycling and renewable-energy projects, fleet-emissions reductions, and community and land stewardship. In 2009, it reports 539,750 tons of asphalt recycled, 590,000 tons of base rock recycled, and 115,617 tons of warm-mix asphalt produced. It also states that fleet-average NOx emissions fell by 35 percent and PM by 33 percent since 1997.
