Overview

The report describes Greif’s 2011 sustainability activities across safety, environmental performance, and community engagement. It reports company-wide fiscal 2010 GHG emissions of 1,006,311 metric tonnes and progress toward a 15 percent reduction in emissions and energy use per unit of production by fiscal 2015. It also highlights renewable-energy projects, a zero-landfill-waste goal for 2020, and water-transport and rain-catchment initiatives in Haiti.
