Overview

The report presents Grindrod's 2015 sustainability supplement within an integrated reporting framework and structures sustainability reporting around the UN Global Compact, GHG Protocol, GRI and FTSE/JSE ESG methodology. It reports 7 044 global year-end employees, 444 631 metric tonnes CO2-e of Scope 1 emissions, 17 331 metric tonnes of Scope 2 emissions, and 479 847 metric tonnes including Scope 3. Total energy usage was 6 512 775 GJ, while the GRI G4 content index was reported under the core in accordance option.
