Annual Report

The report highlights GBL’s 2012 growth in adjusted net assets, which rose 14.6% to EUR 13.2 billion, and its return to a net-cash position of EUR 339 million after major portfolio transactions. It describes a gradual strategy shift toward greater portfolio diversification while retaining GBL’s long-term investment approach. On responsibility, the report says GBL monitors the environmental and social impacts of its investments and encourages portfolio companies to use best practices.
