Overview

The report describes Grupo Bimbo's 2008 social responsibility program across health, environment, associates and community. It reports energy consumption 5% lower than in 2007, atmospheric CO2 emissions reduced by 4%, and water consumption 9% lower. It also describes the use of oxodegradable packaging technology and a reforestation campaign in which associates and their families planted more than 50,000 trees.
