Overview

The report describes the Gunma Bank's support for TCFD recommendations and a Sustainability Committee reporting to the Board of Directors. It reports FY2021 greenhouse gas emissions of 10,256 tons of CO2 and a revised net-zero goal for FY2030, alongside a target of at least a 50% reduction by FY2024 from FY2013. The Group also set cumulative sustainable-finance targets of 5,000 billion yen for FY2024 and 1.5 trillion yen for FY2030, and issued a sustainability bond in October 2021.
