Overview

The report explains that Gunma Bank Group revised its sustainability policy in February 2025 and defined six material issues. FY2024 gross Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were 4,849 Tons of CO2 before offsets, while reported emissions after offsetting were 4,516 tons of CO2, a 59.7% reduction from FY2013. The Bank also obtained independent third-party assurance for FY2024 greenhouse-gas emissions from SOCOTEC Certification Japan Co., Ltd. Sustainable finance executed cumulatively reached 1,128.4 billion yen in FY2024.
