Overview

The report describes GWA's FY2023 ESG progress across its controlled facilities and workforce. Highlights include 517 employees, 5.82 ML of potable water consumed, approximately 283 tonnes of solid waste generated, a 45% waste reduction, and gross Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 351 and 1,277 tonnes, respectively. It also reports 43% female representation on the Board of non-executive directors and carbon neutrality achieved for UK operations' Scope 1 and 2 through offsetting. GWA's ESG Steering Committee was established in FY2023, while overall ESG responsibility rests with the Board.
