Overview

The report describes a Board-led ESG management system in which the Board sets ESG strategy, determines ESG risks and approves the ESG report. It reports a Group workforce of 102,793 employees and extensive food-safety, employee-development and community initiatives during 2019. The environmental data table reports Mainland China-only GHG emissions of 532,926 tCO2e and non-hazardous waste of 175,573 ton, alongside energy and water consumption data.
