The report describes HHLA's 2011 growth: consolidated revenue rose 14.0% to EUR 1,217.3 million, while container throughput increased 21.3% and hinterland transport 11.3%. It also reports that CO2 emissions per container handled fell 21% from 2008 to 2011, alongside a group target to reduce them by more than 30% by 2020.
