Annual Report

The report says HHLA maintained container throughput in a challenging market while reporting group revenue of € 1,128.5 million. It reports a 24.5% reduction in specific CO2 emissions per container handled and transported since 2008, against a minimum 30% reduction target for 2020. HHLA issued a declaration of compliance with the German Sustainability Code and applied GRI sustainability reporting guidelines in the annual report for the first time. The company also realigned its intermodal operations and expanded its Central European rail network.
