The report says HHLA increased revenue to €1,155.2 million and container throughput by 4.4% to 7.5 million TEU despite a challenging market. Its continuing intermodal transport companies expanded volume by 18.0%, supported by network growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The company also reported a 24.9% reduction in specific CO2 emissions per container versus 2008, progressing toward its 30% by 2020 target.
