Sustainability Report

The report describes HHLA's 2016 sustainability performance across environmental, social and economic topics. Specific CO2 emissions per container were 27.3% lower than in 2008, against a 30% reduction target for 2020, while absolute CO2 emissions were 178,468 tonnes. Group headcount reached 5,528 employees, with EUR 4.5 million invested in training and professional development.
