Overview

The report describes Hapag-Lloyd's 2021 sustainability strategy, including a target for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire fleet by 2045 and a 30% reduction in fleet CO2e intensity by 2030 compared with 2019. It covers environmental protection, sustainable procurement, material topics, employees, health and safety, diversity and corporate citizenship. The Group reported 14,106 employees at year-end and included a limited assurance report on its combined separate non-financial report.
