ESG Report

Overview

The report presents Harmony's FY21 ESG performance across South Africa and Papua New Guinea, following the integration of Mponeng and related assets. It records 11 mining-related fatalities, while also reporting a 1.3TWh energy saving and a 1.2-million tonne CO2 reduction since 2016. The report includes detailed environmental, workforce and community performance data and reproduces an independent assurance report covering selected sustainability KPIs.
