Overview

The report is Havells India Limited's maiden Sustainability Report for FY2012-13, covering its eleven Indian manufacturing units and corporate office while excluding international operations and several distribution channels. It reports a first in-house materiality exercise and presents economic, environmental, people, product and community sections under GRI G3.1 Application Level A+. Ernst & Young LLP provided limited assurance over environment, health and safety, and social performance, while the report identifies grid electricity as the main source of its 59,543 tonnes of CO2 equivalent manufacturing-unit footprint.
