Overview

The report presents Havells' 2016-17 sustainability performance across its Economy, Planet and Society sections. It reports total energy consumption of 4,07,127 GJ and energy savings of 6,735 GJ. More than 95% of plant waste was recycled or reused. Social highlights include 2,097 permanent employees, 8,430 temporary or contract staff, and a mid-day meal programme serving 58,000 children daily.
