Overview

The report describes HDFC Bank's first Business Responsibility Report, establishing Sustainability as a core value and creating a Board Level CSR Committee. It reports an estimated FY 2012-13 carbon footprint of 299,150 MT CO2-e and CDP disclosure with a 2012 Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index score of 71. Employee strength reached 69,065, including 12,295 women, while the Sustainable Livelihood Initiative covered more than 5,174 villages and 17 lakh households.
