Overview

The report describes Heidelberg's 2018/2019 combined non-financial reporting for the AG and Group, using HGB's double-materiality provision and focusing on energy, employee development/qualification, occupational health and safety, human rights, and anti-corruption. It reports 290 GWh/a of energy, 227,710 m3/a of water, 41,545 metric tons of waste and a 97.53 percent recycling rate for five major sites, representing around 95 percent of Group-wide energy consumption. The company reports a Group-wide workforce of around 11,500 employees and continued its Code of Conduct rollout and whistleblower system. PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH provided limited assurance under ISAE 3000, excluding selected voluntary environmental figures.
