Overview

The report describes HEINZEL GROUP's 2023 reduction of total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 6.0%, while its short-term and net-zero targets were validated by the SBTi in March 2024. It also expanded its Scope 3 analysis to cover all 15 categories across the value chain. In operations, the new unbleached kraft pulp plant at Pöls was completed and commissioned in fall 2023.
