Overview

The report presents Hengan's 2021 ESG performance across sustainable governance, low-carbon operations, product responsibility, employee care and community benefit. Environmental KPIs covering 23 production companies and 27 bases plus Weifang Hengan Thermal Power report 1,352,253 tCO 2 e of total GHG emissions and 3,375,000 MWh of total energy consumption. Group-wide social KPIs show a 20,000-person workforce and zero work-related fatalities. Hengan also reports 100% ISO certification coverage for relevant environmental and occupational health and safety systems and two concluded corruption-related legal cases.
