Overview

The report presents HEP Group's 2009 operating and sustainability performance, including 14,222 employees. Thermal power plant emissions were reported as 24,956 t of SO2 and 4,043 kt of CO2, while waste generation comprised 1,110 t of hazardous and 88,405 t of non-hazardous waste. It also describes environmental management through ISO 14001 certificates, electronic waste data handling, emissions monitoring and renewable-energy initiatives.
