Overview

The report describes HEP Group's 2013 environmental management across generation, district heating and distribution operations. Air-pollutant reporting shows 3,490,584 t/year of CO2 and lower SO2 and particulate emissions than in 2012. Waste generation comprised 1,565 tons of hazardous waste and 101,705 tons of non-hazardous waste, all handed to authorized collectors, exporters or processors. Three thermal plants introduced ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 systems, while all 21 HEP DSO distribution areas confirmed ISO 14001 systems.
