Overview

The report describes HPCL's FY 2012-13 sustainability performance across refining, marketing, environmental management and social responsibility. It highlights 774 Lakhs KWH of wind-power generation, water recycling, energy audits and carbon-footprint assessments. The company also reports board-level oversight through its Sustainable Development Committee and substantial CSR activity supporting education, health, livelihoods and community development. The report was independently assured by Emergent Ventures India Private Ltd. under AA1000AS (2008) and presented as a GRI-G3.1+OGSS A+ report.
