The report describes HPCL's 2040 goal to achieve net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions, expanded Scope 3 reporting, renewable-energy generation and a broad programme of environmental initiatives. It also reports 9,065 employees, extensive training and safety activity, and CSR expenditure of ₹ 135.57 Crore during 2021-22. The report is prepared in accordance-comprehensive with GRI Standards and includes independent Moderate assurance by Bureau Veritas.
