The report says Hiscox’s worldwide operations became carbon neutral in 2014, offsetting residual emissions through ClimateCare’s LifeStraw Carbon for Water project in western Kenya. It reports 2014 global emissions of 452.15 tonnes CO2e for Scope 1, 1,849.89 for Scope 2 and 4,906.32 for Scope 3 business travel, and says the global GHG data was independently verified. Hiscox remained a CDP member and was ranked joint second under ClimateWise in 2014.
