Overview

The report describes Hitachi Construction Machinery Group's FY2023 sustainability performance across climate, resources, workforce and governance. It reports Scope 1 emissions of 91,800 t-CO2, Scope 2 emissions of 150,600 t-CO2 and Scope 3 emissions of 16,579,300 t-CO2. The group targets a 45% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 from a FY2010 baseline, while FY2023 waste generated totaled 100.9 kt and permanent consolidated employees totaled 26,230. GHG, energy and water-related data were subject to limited assurance by SOCOTEC Certification Japan.
