Environmental, Social and Governance Report

The report describes HKT's response to COVID-19 through flexible work arrangements, community support and digital services for vulnerable groups. It reports 16,396 employees globally, zero work-related fatalities among staff, and extensive training and diversity initiatives. Environmental highlights include 230,885 tonnes CO2-e of total GHG emissions, 1,311,591 GJ of energy consumption and 337,600 m3 of water consumption in 2020. The report's environmental data was independently verified by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency at a reasonable level of assurance.
