Overview

The report describes Foxconn's 2018 social and environmental performance across its global operations and controlled entities. It reports a full-time workforce of 863,000 employees and highlights investments in employee development, health and safety, supply-chain responsibility and community programs. Renewable energy reached 5.71% of total Group energy use, alongside major energy-efficiency investments and a 24% carbon dioxide reduction target for 2020 against 2015. Bureau Veritas Certification Taiwan independently assured the report using AA1000AS.
