Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report presents HKEX Group's 2016 CSR performance through four cornerstones: Marketplace, Workplace, Community and Environment. It highlights a workforce of 1,663, more than 29,000 training hours, and a 12% reduction in combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions to 17,499 tonnes CO2e. Community initiatives included raising $62 million through the Stock Code Balloting for Charity Scheme, while the Data Centre received LEED Gold Certification for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance. The report was independently verified by HKQAA under reasonable assurance.
