Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is The Hong Kong Jockey Club's first Sustainability Report covering its Hong Kong operations for 2010/11. It reports 116,628 tonnes of CO2-e and a 5.2% reduction in total carbon emissions from 2009/10, supported by energy-efficiency, green procurement and waste-recycling initiatives. The Club also sets a carbon-neutrality objective for 2025 and a 20% reduction in carbon and energy intensity by 2015 against a 2009 base year.
