Overview

The report presents Kāinga Ora's 2022/23 delivery of 2,893 gross new public and supported homes and a net increase of 2,526 homes. It highlights environmental work including 29,994 tonnes of site-clearance waste diverted from landfill, 192 homes with renewable energy systems installed, and the first government-funded Certified Passive House development in Australasia. It also introduces an emissions inventory covering corporate, buildings, infrastructure and transport emissions, with reduction targets across those groups.
