Overview

The report is Holzindustrie Schweighofer's first sustainability report and covers the company's key sustainability information for 2015-2017. It highlights a first Group-wide greenhouse gas balance for 2017 covering principal sites and activities in Romania, Germany and Austria. The report also describes the Timflow GPS wood-tracking system, implemented across Romanian sawmills in 2017 to improve supply-chain transparency. Company-wide targets include reducing CO2 emissions by 25 per cent and energy consumption by 30 per cent by 2025.
